SIPS panels and their uses

SIPS Panels have a variety of uses from forming walls, floors, roofs and infill panels on domestic, commercial, leisure and retail buildings. Whether that be replacing old brick, timber or stone structures or working alongside them- SIPS panels does it all!

SIPS PanelPanels are made as a composite by layering a rigid insulating material between outer boards. The resulting panel is both strong and well insulated, making them lightweight, quick to erect and free from problems of compression shrinkage and cold bridging associated with other forms of construction. The most common materials are Oriented Strand Board (OSB) with a core of Expanded Polystyrene (EPS), although other materials can also be used.

Panels are available in a choice of thicknesses, to suit a wide variety of applications. SIPs are used in floors, walls and roofs for residential, industrial, educational and commercial applications, providing ecologically friendly and energy efficient buildings.
